Dane Peter Pedersen is something of an internet entrepreneur and visionary and in the 1990s was a key player in building up a digital agency that delivered web technologies for some major UK brands.
Pedersen went on to work for TV station Channel 4 where he led the successful delivery of the channel’s interactive offering online and on TV, and he managed the technical build of the scalable infrastructure and websites for Big Brother, E4, FilmFour and channel4.com.
As CTO of online gaming firm Blue Square, Pedersen was instrumental in facilitating information sharing between rival companies during the denial of service blackmail attacks targeting the UK industry in 2004. He also built the scalable on and off-shore infrastructure for international expansion and gaming and betting websites for Mecca Bingo, Grosvenor Casinos and 888Sports.
Later Peter was promoted from his role at Blue Square to CTO of its parent, The Rank Group Plc, where he was tasked with putting IT at the heart of some major and rapid change at the organisation.
In 2008 Pedersen joined the dynamic new leadership team at online lingerie retailer Figleaves.com, where he is charged with scaling the technologies in preparation for growth.
Peter has been a non-exec Director since 2009, but is now Managing Director and a key adviser for DCV and the Nexus Group.
Brian is a Board member of DCV Technologies and also Board member of the Association for Project Management. He is a Fellow of the APM and also the BCS with an MBA from Henley Management College and is a Chartered Engineer. Brian is a participant in the Santa Fe Institute’s complex systems and chaos theory MOOC programme and is a Director of a large consulting organisation based in London. Brian has more than 30 years’ experience in adaptive change program leadership and is an independent consultant working in both the public and the private sector. He has extensive international experience in USA, UK, Canada, Hong Kong, Germany and offshore in Bangalore.
A highly effective, hands-on Senior Director in the staffing industry, Paul is able to demonstrate significant success across a range of multi-discipline professional services sectors with a global customer base over the last 26 years. Creating growth, both organically and via strategic acquisitions. He has taken a role up of nine companies to create one brand Modis International. Paul spent 10 years building Modis International into a circa £150m turnover UK and European staffing and services organisation.
As of 2014 Paul has become a Non-Executive Director to staffing companies across the UK and is currently working with DCV Technologies to strengthen their senior management team.
Simon Hollins is an experienced global CIO currently performing this role at SONY EMI. over the last 20 years Simon has held CIO positions for companies such as J. Walter Thompson, PA Consulting and BT, as well as establishing and selling his own software business. Most recently he was running one of the largest systems transformation and offshoring programmes in Europe. An advisor to growing businesses, conference speaker on customer-centric IT transformation and member of industry customer boards, Simon was, until recently, also a member of the BT Wales Board Advisory Forum.
Head of Sales
As DCV’s Head of sales Ian has been fundamental in the continued development of DCV’s growth in new service areas such as software testing. Ian progressed to this strategic role from his previous position as Head of operation, which he took when he commenced work with DCV a few years ago.
He pioneered DCV’s digital recruitment methodology and currently head up business development for the permanent and contract recruitment sector within IT and Engineering. Ian joined DCV from JCC / SBS(a leading International recruitment organisation in the UK) as Business Development Manager.. His previous positions cover a wide range of responsibilities including Service Delivery Director and UK Recruitment Director for a recruitment company in Hertfordshire.
Ian has over 16 years recruitment expertise in the I.T, Telecommunications, Engineering, Medical / Life Science and Sales industries.
Ronald joined us from the Tesnet Group (a publicly quoted IT software and services company specialising in the software testing industry) where he was Head of Finance.
During his 10 years in the finance industry, Ronald held senior positions at Board and operational level. He was instrumental in growing his previous company both organically and by acquisition. His responsibilities also covered overseas operations which included group and international finance and accounting.
Human Resources Manager
Anna joined DCV from The Nexus Group as Head of Human Resources to facilitate the Company recruitment and people management activities through a period of rapid growth. She possesses several years experience of managing the HR function in an IT Service environment.
Initially, Anna started her career as a Hotel Manager in a 5* tropical resort. She then changed her career to become a software test consultant working on language specific localisation testing where she capitalised on her multi lingual skills. She then joined the Nexus Group as an HR coordinator and then took on the role as HR manager of DCV in 2007.As part of her development she took a Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety qualification and gained a postgraduate qualification in Personnel Management.
As DCV’s Head of resourcing, Courtney has been fundamental in the continued development of DCV’s support services. Courtney’s efficient management of the resource team helps our sales team manage client demand effectively. Courtney progressed to this strategic role from his previous position as Senior resource consultant, which he took when he commenced work with DCV in 2007. Courtney joined DCV from CSR consultants (a leading recruitment organisation in the UK). Courtney has over 10 years recruitment experience.
